My Priorities for Redding

  • Budget

Redding's spending has outpaced its income and costs continue to soar. Transparency has been missing on key issues, and trust in city government is low. Restoring trust starts with controlling costs and spending public funds only where they produce real results — while giving the people I serve the respect they deserve.

  • Jobs & Economic Growth

With strained finances and our local economy at a critical juncture, I am committed to policies that retain existing businesses, attract new ones, fill the Stillwater Business Park, and build lasting financial strength. Jobs lead to housing. Housing leads to retail. I will make job creation and retention unwavering priorities.

  • Roads & Infrastructure

Maintaining roads is a foundational responsibility, and ours have fallen into neglect. Drawing on four decades of infrastructure experience, I will make road improvements a higher budget priority. I will fight for road improvements to receive additional funding by restructuring existing developer impact fees - And do it without raising fees.

  • Public Safety

A safe city is essential for our community to thrive. I will support our police and fire departments and ensure their expertise is valued in every decision. On crime, we must hold people accountable while showing compassion for those experiencing the worst. It is critical that we continue to improve fire safety for Redding.
