Russ Wenham Joins Fellow Candidates at Redding Chamber of Commerce City Council Forum

The Redding Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee hosted a candidate forum for the 2026 Redding City Council race, giving voters a chance to hear directly from the nine candidates seeking three open seats in the November 3 general election. Russ Wenham joined the other candidates to answer questions about the issues facing Redding and the city's future.

With three of the council's five seats on the ballot, voters may select up to three candidates. The three who receive the most votes will be elected.

Forums like this give residents an unfiltered look at how each candidate thinks, what they prioritize, and how they would approach the decisions ahead. For Russ, that conversation is what this campaign is about: straight answers grounded in 42 years of engineering and public service experience, with a clear focus on budgets, roads, jobs, and public safety.
